The Journey To Myself
I'm Laurel. I'm from California where the people are always on the go and struggling for serenity. I'm happiest when I'm connecting with my body and calming my mind but I also like to show people how to move. For me, the world is too full of those of us who can't stop to catch a breach. We need more fearless warriors. This became crystal clear for me when I realized that We've lost touch with what connects us to the world and each other; our bodies.. I grew up like most kids, with a loving family and plenty of challenges along the road to growing up. One of my biggest challenges entering adulthood was my weight. I struggled to get in touch with myself see that I could grow into the strong, able bodied woman I deserve to be.. I noticed that We're often caught up in surface fixes, rather than listening to our deepest wishes and pursuing them.. I had to do something about it. I decided to Share my knowledge of the body with those who are ready to learn and grow.. I thinking I have no more to learn, grew stagnant and unchallenged, and hurt myself. It hasn't been easy, but in the end I've I've taught dozens of motivated instructors to-be how to be their best selves in their pursuit of teaching the practice of yoga.. Now my mission is to keep learning, growing, sharing and teaching!
